Search for Piano Talent Tilburg and surroundings 2018
As part of the Tilburg on Wings festival, we wanted to show that this city is bursting with young piano talent. On September 29, 2018, we therefore organized a cart tour that visited five squares in the city center of Tilburg. Seated on the cart, the participants played compositions by W.A. Mozart or J. Sporck.
Participation was open to children up to and including 16 years old*. There were two categories for which three prizes could be won each: category A: for participants up to and including 12 years old and category B: for participants from 13 to and including 16 years old. Finally, the piano talent of Tilburg and surroundings for 2018 was chosen from the prize winners. The award ceremony took place during the anniversary concert on October 14 in the Concert Hall Tilburg.
