It was a great and also a special concert: in the world music literature only two great trios for this unusual line-up are known, namely by Ligeti and Brahms. The work of Jo Sporck (world premiere) is a beautiful addition to these two works. Moreover, it is the first time in history that these three trios have been performed in one concert.

The music was fabulous! The trio Reynaerde’s performance was overwhelming. Ligeti’s trio was executed perfectly. Jo Sporck's work was beautiful, balanced and extraordinarily captivating and exciting, and, also, superbly and played with verve. One of Jo Sporck's best pieces! Brahms' trio was also played very well, several attendees commented that they had never heard it so perfectly and with such enthusiasm, truly phenomenal! And that applies to all three musicians, very high level! We have done a golden job with this trio!

In short, it was a very successful evening with an enthusiastic trio and an equally enthusiastic audience, many of whom stayed for a chat while enjoying a drink...
